Wish Upon A Stone

I am not a stone

I don’t like being on my own

I don’t like bad words sewn

I don’t like it when you leave me all alone

Alone

Alone when your kids grow old

Alone

Alone when your kids get married and start a new life, start a new home

But I must say, I must say your life is never your own

It is never your own because your kids become the parents, days pass, days pass by, and you grow old

You grow old in the passing days, and your kids say, “You’re kids say it’s time, you know it’s time now to sell your home, nothing is your own

In the passing days, you pray, you pray that your mind stays sound, stays sound so your kids don’t take you for a ride, sound so you don’t end up in a home

Days turn

Days turn nothing is your own

Nothing is your own you turn to stone and the grave will become your new home

You leave this world, you leave this world and go on, the young go on, they grow wishing the same thing, wishing that they do not turn to stone, but don’t worry life goes on, life goes on your never on your own
